Lockington Parish Council serves the communities of Lockington, Aike, outlying homes, farmsteads, and businesses of the Civil Parish. The Parish Council is made up of nine elected Parish Councillors supported by the Parish Clerk.

The Parish is located in the East Riding of Yorkshire and is situated approximately 6 miles north of Beverley and 7 miles south of Driffield. According to the 2019 estimate the population of Lockington Parish is 539 and there were 255 separate households (2011 census). As a Parish Council, we are the tier of Local Government that is the closest to the people we represent.

Parish Council Meeting Dates

Parish Council Meeting Dates 2024 (Revision 1.1)

The April meeting has been cancelled.

The next meeting is due to take place @ 1900 hrs on Monday 20th May 2024 (All meetings will be held in the Village Hall).

There are three meetings on the 20th;

1. Annual Parish Meeting (APM) @ 1900 hrs.

2. Annual Parish Council Meeting (APCM) @ 1930 hrs.

3. Ordinary Parish Council Meeting (OPCM) @ 2000 hrs.

The APCM and OPCM will commence on completion of the previous meeting.
